 While the long range visibility was reasonable for the early starters the driving rain and strong winds presented an additional challenge to all participants while navigating around this technical terrain. As the morning progressed the fog descended making conditions even tougher and as the wind speeds increased even the organisers began to struggle and feared their tent would become airborne. These testing conditions didn't deter all those vying for 2015 Shamrock O-Ringen Championship titles and there was some fierce competition amongst the chasers and within the classes. Following three consecutive taxing days of orienteering Marcus Pinker (CORKO) was crowned the 2015 M21E Shamrock O-Ringen Champion and Toni O'Donovan (CORKO) was declared the 2015 W21E Shamrock O-Ringen Champion. Congratulations to our champions and well done to all those who braved the elements and ventured out in those extreme conditions.
